Meaning

It may be, for some of us, that these people present a metaphor. Do we dress for a given effect, or do we ourselves possess a mystique that projects beyond the everyday? This picture was painted to be a mystery and the viewers will find their own answers. It was created to stimulate the imagination!

Lind began this painting in 2001, inspired by a wish to transcend her painting style of previous years. She explains that her aim was to find a blend between traditional and contemporary forms of art. Above all, she wanted to inspire and communicate with other people.

Presently, Lind is busy at work on two paintings to follow "The Lesson" and these will be offered to the to the public, in print form, as they become available.
