About The Artist
Lind was born in Canada, in 1943, of Danish parents. From the age of five she knew she would be an artist. Studying art for 4 years, at Central Technical Institute in Toronto, prepared her for a career in portrait painting, and was a springboard for other forms of art.
With extensive experience in the art world, Lind has been painting professionally since 1961. She was invited to paint her portraits in Australia and South Africa, and her work may also be found in many collections across Canada.
After thirty years in the field of portrait painting, Lind brings an understanding of character and personality to her present paintings of magical people. She finds much joy in her work, and hopes to impart this feeling to others. Lind has lived on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada since 1995, where she receives much inspiration from the mountains, trees and water.
